Florida's 4-H Reef Rovers Club Receives Youth Environmental Leadership Award

Florida’s 4-H Reef Rovers Club received the "Youth Environmental Leadership Award" at the Sarasota County Conservation Awards. The club has been active in learning about and protecting the environment.

Twelve-year-old Madison and 10-year-old Raven Chapman received the honor for their work in promoting environmental learning and issues with home-schooled peers. Both girls are frequent volunteers for the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program and participate in bat box construction and monitoring programs.
