NASAs Selene Project Needs Your Help
The research department at the Center for Educational Technologies (CET) at Wheeling Jesuit is doing research on 'gaming' and have designed a new lunar game called "Selene." In order to gather data/information about this game, they are seeking youth players, ages 13-18.
he game takes about an hour, ideal for 4-H club meetings or at home. Once youth play the game, researchers will track the player’s game to study how the Selene game helped them learn about geology of the moon.
CET is currently looking for 'recruiters' who would be willing to assist youth in signing up for the game and obtaining parental consent before using the game (ideally 4-H club leaders or county 4-H agents). To sign up, visit http://selene.cet.edu/.
For more information please contact Kathleen Frank, Center for Educational Technologies, Wheeling Jesuit University at (304) 243-2495 or kfrank@cet.edu.
