Associate/Extension Agent and Regional Coordinator Position Available

WORK LOCATION: This announcement is for two regional 4-H coordinator positions. The first position (08-11) serves nine parishes in central Louisiana and the second position (08-12) serves nine parishes in northeast Louisiana.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Central and Northeast Region 4-H Regional Coordinator are charged with providing leadership for the 4-H youth development program in the assigned geographical area and/or competency area. The position reports administratively to the regional director/s of the parishes served by the position. The regional director/s will conduct annual evaluations of the regional 4-H coordinator considering input from the head of the 4-H Department. The coordinator is responsible for administratively supporting 4-H agents in selecting and implementing program priorities, expanding volunteer development, and successfully implementing and evaluating effective and innovative youth development programs that lead to measurable life skill achievement. The coordinator will collaborate with parish chairs in their joint responsibility for evaluating the 4-H agents' performance including making promotion and specialization recommendations to regional director.
